Somewhere on this globe, every ten seconds, there is a woman giving birth to a child. She must be found and stopped. Sam Levenson

So, I have arrived now in my mid 30`s with a beautiful teenage daughter and a lovely young newborn son and I often wonder – what wonderful things might I have done in a past life to deserve this blessed existence.  This thought of course is quickly dissolved into reality as soon as my son wakes from his nap screaming like a cat on fire and my daughter bursts into my Zen Bubble with a new thing pierced and purple streaks in her hair…….How many things can one pierce (I wonder). What happens when you go threw the metal detector at the airport. What will she look like at 80 when her skin begins to sag and the once tiny holes in her taught membrane have stretched into the size of saucers with no elasticity to bounce back…..Purple…A wonderfully lavender shade of purple. But purple. Where in nature do we find this shade of hair? Could be worse. She could have shaved her head…..
